In a time when customer service is definitely lacking in the world, Vantage Insurance is the exception. The dedication and hard work of your employee, Wendi, saved our family from unwanted stress and worry during my husband's battle with cancer. Wendi and the staff at Vantage went above and beyond to accomplish all medical direction with compassion and professionalism. It’s sad to think of so many people in their final days with the worries of medical bills looming over them. I have never had any experience such as this one with any insurance company. Everyone involved is so incredibly caring and concerned for their clients. My husband passed away October 23 (2008). One day I was teaching a class and started to feel faint. My son is an internal medicine doctor in Arkansas and wanted me to come there so he could oversee my testing and treatment. They ran every possible test on me they could, even though I was out-of-network. Vantage Medicare Advantage took such good care of me and my medical bills. I didn't have to pay hardly anything, only my small copay. Vantage paid the rest. On January 8, 2009, I had a very serious surgery performed. Vantage Health Plan, Inc. was there from the very beginning. I cannot overstate their value. Eja was my claim representative and I found her to be professional and caring. We have been very pleased with her customer service, attention to detail, and accepting of our needs. I entrusted myself into her care and she gave only the best. Eja is truly a jewel. She represented Vantage very well. After delivering my child of premature birth, we ended up being separated by two hospitals. He was transferred by ambulance, leaving me afraid and scared. A representative from Vantage came to my hospital room carrying a goodie basket from Vantage. He assured me that I was covered and even waived my deductible for the second hospital. I was told not to worry, that all expenses were covered and to concentrate on getting well and being with my newborn. This took a load of concern off my mind. Thanks Vantage... you are the greatest. As a benefit administrator, working with Vantage’s Shreveport representative is very helpful. When I have questions regarding our plan, she is extremely knowledgeable and patient. If an employee receives a bill and should not have, they resolve it within 24 hours. Our employees appreciate the fact that there is someone to guide them through the medical insurance red tape! "Building Better Communities" definitely describes Vantage Health Plan. As for assets of this company, Vantage employees are the best. The most outstanding experience for me when dealing with Vantage was during the transition period of my college-aged children from a family group policy to private insurance policies. As a teacher in Ouachita Parish, I can once again enjoy the benefits of Vantage Health Plan. I love the personal approach that Vantage takes in dealing with its members and the fact that Vantage is owned and run by physicians who concentrate on the patient. I can always call Vantage directly with any questions I have and actually speak to a live person who is very knowledgeable about my plan. Vantage's nurses even help me find generic drugs for my prescriptions. I know the co pays I am responsible for, and I never receive a bill for other charges, such as radiologists and pathologists. When I tell other people in the state about the benefits I have with Vantage, they can't believe it. Vantage is the most well-organized, well-run health care program I have ever seen, and believe me, I have investigated! I am excited to have Vantage Health Plan as my health insurance carrier again. The people at Vantage make it very easy to do business with them. When I have a problem, I know the person's name and extension I need to call. If I have to leave a message, they call me back the same day. The people at Vantage are very nice and helpful. Evelyn M Roberts |

I have been with Vantage Health Plan since June of 2004, while working and have recently retired. Transferring to individual coverage for my retirement was extremely easy and inexpensive. So, it is true that you can take some things with you. The first and foremost benefit of Vantage Health Insurance is their outstanding customer service. They are local and one call to member services will get you the answer you require from friendly and knowledgeable staff. My experience is that most questions are answered within the same day. My recommendation is that you call and find out for yourself how they may help insure and reassure. Roxy Fuller |

Vantage Health Plan provides the best customer service of any insurance plan that I have ever been a part of. They are always available to answer any and all questions.
