The Claims Examiner is responsible for processing claims. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Process all claim types, excluding VHP employee claims
• Post claims to the Inpatient (I/P) and Ambulatory Surgery (ASU) spreadsheets
• Run daily MC400 queries
• Audit claims for duplicates and research as necessary.
• Assist in compiling reinsurance details.
• Light data entry as needed.

A Bachelors Degree and/or claims audit experience is required. Attention to detail, verbal communication, organizational skills, and the ability to make simple calculations are required.

The Accounting Specialist will perform various administrative functions for the finance and claims departments. Responsibilities include but not limited to:  
• Ensure timely & accurate premium billing each month.
• Reconcile monthly premiums forwarding any discrepancies to the group’s billing contact.
• Notify Sr. Enrollment Specialist of any member eligibility and/or group changes and/or terminations received.
• Draft ACH premiums
• Collect & post premium payments.
• Collect, post, or return provider refunds received based on authorization from the Claims department.
• Prepare all money received for deposit. Deposit checks & money orders through Remote Deposit System.
• Notify Vice President, CFO, Sr. Enrollment Specialist, Accounting, Claims, and Marketing Departments of delinquent groups and subsequent payments.
• Generate and mail premium late notices monthly.
• Contact groups and COBRA members via telephone 5 days after late notices are sent.
• Generate and mail out termination letters due to non-payment of premium.
• Prepare and mail out broker commission schedule each month.
• Research status and request copies of checks generated.
• Research producers to be appointed and submit application to DOI
• Send Quarterly and Annual Statements to rating companies.
• Prepare documents for OnBase Scanning

The Provider Relations Assistant will be responsible for the clerical duties of the Provider Relations Department.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
•Assist Director of Provider Relations with various projects, mailings, organization, and other various responsibilities.
•Answer phone calls and/or directs them to appropriate Provider Relations or Vantage staff.
•Manage mailings and faxes to Providers.
•Provide on-going technical assistance to Providers and their staff.
•Add new Providers to MC 400, Website, Provider lists, Newsletters.
•Establish, develop, maintain, and update filing system for the Director of Provider Relations and the department. Retrieve information from files when needed.
•Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Individual acts as project manager for special projects, at the request of the Director of Provider Relations, which may include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, coordinating direct mailings.
•Type and design general correspondences, memos, etc. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Individual is responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
•Research and Respond to Appeals
•Assemble binders and packets for the Providers.

A High School Diploma or G.E.D. and clerical experience is required. Attention to detail, excellent verbal & written communication skills, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and the ability to make presentations are required.

The Property Specialist will be responsible for the execution of all janitorial tasks required in order to maintain a clean and presentable site according to Vantage Health Plan, Inc standards.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Mop all hallways and elevators daily.
• Clean all glass doors and mirrors daily.
• Clean Stainless Steel in elevators daily.
• Polish brass door handles daily.
• Vacuum Hallways on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 11th floors once a week.
• Mop restrooms daily.
• Clean restroom sinks, toilet bowls, and mirrors daily.
• Replace paper products daily.
• Empty all trash daily.
• Vacuum individual offices once a week.
• Empty and change trash can liners daily.
• Dust window ledges and tabletops with the exception of desktops.
• Mop the main and back stairwells once a week.

A high school diploma or equivalent as well as janitorial experience is required. Candidates must have consistently demonstrated a high degree of integrity in their daily work. Successful background check and drug screen are a condition of employment.

The Member Service Representative is primarily responsible for providing effective member service for all Vantage Health Plan, Inc. members by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products. The Member Services Representative will answer member questions in a timely and professional manner explaining benefits and handling grievances.

Job Duties include but not limited to:
• Answer Member Services’ direct line by the 2nd ring, unless on another call.
• Respond to voice mail at least twice daily.
• Respond to Member and Providers’ e-mail requests on the day the e-mail was received.
• Research any prescription drug issue within the day of the request.
• Research any co pay needed within the day of the request.
• Research any bills that a Member has received and respond back within 48 hours of notification.
• Complete Workflow assignments in On-Base daily.

A high school diploma or GED is required. Louisiana Health Insurance License is preferred. Attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, exceptional customer service skills, and excellent phone etiquette are required.
