The Provider Relations Assistant will be responsible for the clerical duties of the Provider Relations Department.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assist Director of Provider Relations with various projects, mailings, organization, and other various responsibilities.
Answer phone calls and/or directs them to appropriate Provider Relations or Vantage staff.
Manage mailings and faxes to Providers.
Provide on-going technical assistance to Providers and their staff. Add new Providers to MC 400, Website, Provider lists, Newsletters.
Establish, develop, maintain, and update filing system for the Director of Provider Relations and the department. Retrieve information from files when needed.
Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Individual acts as project manager for special projects, at the request of the Director of Provider Relations, which may include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, coordinating direct mailings.
Type and design general correspondences, memos, etc. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Individual is responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
Research and Respond to Appeals
Assemble binders and packets for the Providers.
A High School Diploma or G.E.D. and clerical experience is required. Attention to detail, excellent verbal & written communication skills, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and the ability to make presentations are required.

The Member Service Representative is primarily responsible for providing effective member service for all Vantage Health Plan, Inc. members by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products. The Member Services Representative will answer member questions in a timely and professional manner explaining benefits and handling grievances.
Job Duties include but not limited to:
Answer Member Services’ direct line by the 2nd ring, unless on another call.
Respond to voice mail at least twice daily.
Respond to Member and Providers’ e-mail requests on the day the e-mail was received.
Research any prescription drug issue within the day of the request.
Research any co pay needed within the day of the request.
Research any bills that a Member has received and respond back within 48 hours of notification.
Complete Workflow assignments in On-Base daily.
A high school diploma or GED is required. Louisiana Health Insurance License is preferred. Attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, exceptional customer service skills, and excellent phone etiquette are required.

The UR/QM Nurse is responsible for reviewing each inpatient stay and outpatient procedures as applicable for medical necessity and meeting the appropriate level criteria.
Job Duties include but not limited to:
Perform pre-admission, concurrent, and retrospective reviews as appropriate for all inpatient stays.
Forward every case that does not meet criteria to the Medical Director.
Perform medical underwriting for groups and individuals prior to them being reviewed by the Medical Director.
Calculate Annualized Bed Days per Thousand and other reports as requested.
Review all Emergency Room Facility claims for emergency criteria.
A current Louisiana Registered Nursing License is required. Prior experience in Utilization Review, case management, and/or medical underwriting is preferred. Attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, exceptional customer service skills, and excellent phone etiquette are required.

We are currently looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. The LPN position is a full time position that will consist of assisting and/or substituting at several area Physicians offices.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assists Physician with patient assessment, examination, and treatments.
Documents patient care, observation, and activities according to professional standards and procedures.
Thoroughly educates and explains procedures to patients and family members and assists them in coping with illnesses.
Maintains confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the organization.
Provides clinical triage.
Provides clinical telephone triage/communication as defined by protocol or Physician instructions.
Performs basic medical procedures under the supervision of a Physician. (e.g. lab draws, dressing changes, immunizations, medical injections/administration)
Administers medications according to the organization’s standards, polices, procedures, and/or guidelines.
Sets up and assists Physician with various procedures.
Maintains a clean, well-stocked patient care area and nursing area, observing asepsis techniques and all other federal mandates. (i.e. OSHA, etc.)
